After Sohail Khan entered the reality show as a wild card contestant, his former wife Seema Sajdeh has officially confirmed that she will also be joining the competition. Seema Sajdeh Shares Sohail Khan’s Advice
Speaking to India Today, Seema revealed that Sohail had just one important piece of advice before she entered the show. She recalled him saying, “And the last thing he said to me was, ‘Don’t get bullied.’ So I said, ‘Okay, you are there.’ So there’s a little comfort in that.” The comment reflected the mutual respect the former couple continues to share despite ending their marriage several years ago.
When asked whether their past relationship or the competition could affect their strategy inside the house, Seema made it clear that some relationships are bigger than reality television. She explained that their strongest alliance already exists because they are parents to their two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. According to Seema, she would be genuinely surprised if that bond ever changed for the sake of the game. Her remarks suggest that family responsibilities will remain separate from whatever unfolds inside the competition.
Their Sons Encouraged Them To Join The Show
Seema also revealed that their children had different reactions to seeing both parents participate in the same reality show. While Yohan was excited about the idea and even encouraged both of them to sign up, Nirvaan had a much simpler request. According to Seema, her elder son advised her not to spend time discussing him or Sohail during the show. She respected his wish while acknowledging that both children have been supportive of their parents’ decisions.
Interestingly, Seema credited Yohan as the person who convinced both her and Sohail to take up Alliance. Recalling the conversation, she shared that her son strongly felt she should be part of the reality show. “So, I think we’ll also be playing for him,” she said. The emotional connection with their children appears to have become an important motivation for both Seema and Sohail as they begin this unusual reality television journey together.
Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan married in 1998 before ending their marriage in 2022 after 24 years together. Despite the divorce, the two have continued to co-parent their sons and have often spoken about maintaining a respectful relationship. Seema is now in a relationship with businessman Vikram Ahuja, while both continue to focus on their individual lives and family responsibilities.
