Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabaali has collected an estimated ₹26.65 crore worldwide in its first two days, although the period action drama witnessed a decline at the Indian box office on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film earned ₹7.30 crore net in India on its second day, compared with ₹9.25 crore on Friday. The 21.1% decline raises questions about its opening-weekend momentum, particularly amid competition from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2.
Ranabaali Box Office Day 2: India and Worldwide Collections
According to Sacnilk, Ranabaali has accumulated ₹16.55 crore net in India after two days. Its domestic gross stands at ₹19.25 crore, while overseas markets have contributed ₹7.40 crore.
Saturday’s overseas collection was approximately ₹2 crore, bringing the worldwide total to ₹26.65 crore.
The film’s overall reported occupancy also declined from 57% on opening day to 53% on Saturday. Its theatrical show count dropped from 2,515 to 2,292.
However, estimates vary between trackers. Pinkvilla places the film’s worldwide two-day collection at approximately ₹24.50 crore, reflecting differences in trade calculations.
Jailer 2 Competition Adds to Ranabaali’s Challenge
Released on October 16, Ranabaali arrived just one day after Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, which has dominated the South Indian box office.
The competition creates a difficult theatrical environment for Vijay Deverakonda’s film, although its Saturday decline cannot be attributed solely to the clash.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Ranabaali explores resistance against British colonial rule during the devastating Madras Famine of 1876–1878. Vijay plays the titular character, while Rashmika portrays Jayamma.
The film also marks their latest collaboration following Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
With mixed audience reactions and a Saturday decline, Sunday’s collections will be crucial in determining whether Ranabaali can recover momentum before the weekday test.
