India’s K-pop concert calendar is getting its biggest HYBE event yet. HYBE India has officially announced the first Weverse Con Festival India, with the two-day music and fandom festival scheduled for March 27 and 28, 2027, in New Delhi.
The announcement is a milestone for the festival itself: after being staged in South Korea for years, the India edition will become the first Weverse Con Festival held outside Korea. HYBE says the event will bring together K-pop performers and Indian artists, including special collaboration stages designed to connect the two music cultures.
There is one major detail fans should not read into the announcement just yet. Although HYBE is home to labels representing acts such as BTS, ENHYPEN and LE SSERAFIM, none of those groups has been officially announced for the India festival at this stage. HYBE says the artist lineup will be revealed later.
Weverse Con is leaving Korea for the first time
The overseas expansion gives the India edition more significance than a conventional K-pop concert.
Weverse Con grew from HYBE’s year-end music events before evolving into an annual festival built around the broader Weverse artist and fan ecosystem. It has since expanded beyond performers directly associated with HYBE labels, bringing artists from different agencies, generations and genres onto the same bill.
The scale of the most recent Korean edition provides some idea of what that can mean. The 2026 Weverse Con Festival, staged at Seoul’s Olympic Park on June 6 and 7, featured a 30-artist lineup across its programming. ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, P1Harmony, Apink, Zico, Wendy and several others participated, while Rain appeared as the festival’s tribute artist.
That history also explains why predicting India’s lineup solely from HYBE’s roster would be premature. Weverse Con is not simply a showcase restricted to BTS’ labelmates.
What is confirmed for Weverse Con Festival India?
HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee said the company wants to combine HYBE’s global capabilities with India’s creativity and create experiences that connect with local audiences. Weverse Company President Zooil Yang similarly described the event as an opportunity to extend Weverse’s fan experience from online communities into a physical festival setting.
The current BookMyShow listing confirms the March 27–28 dates and places the event in Delhi NCR, although the specific venue has not yet been announced. It describes the festival as including large-scale performances, fan experiences and immersive spaces. Tickets will be handled through BookMyShow, but sales are currently listed as “coming soon.”
That means three of the details fans will care about most—the full lineup, exact venue and ticket prices—are still to come.
HYBE is building a much bigger presence in India
The festival also fits into HYBE India’s broader attempt to establish a local ecosystem rather than treating India solely as an overseas fan market.
The company has already been running India-focused auditions and fan activities, while its official channels have promoted local pop-up events and other projects. The arrival of Weverse Con now moves that expansion into large-scale live entertainment.
The most interesting part may ultimately be the promised mixture of Korean and Indian performers. If HYBE follows through with meaningful collaboration stages rather than simply placing artists from the two markets on separate parts of the bill, the India edition could develop its own identity instead of operating as a copy of the Seoul festival.
For now, however, fans waiting for names such as BTS, ENHYPEN or LE SSERAFIM should wait for the official lineup announcement. Weverse Con Festival India is confirmed. Those individual artists are not—at least not yet.
