Yami Gautam’s supernatural comedy Nayyi Navelli has witnessed a modest improvement at the box office, collecting an estimated ₹4 crore on its second day, Saturday, October 17. The film has now earned ₹7.25 crore net in India and crossed ₹10 crore worldwide within two days of its theatrical release.
According to Sacnilk, the Balaji Mohan-directed film opened with ₹3.25 crore on Friday before registering approximately 23.1% growth on Saturday.
Nayyi Navelli Box Office Collection Day 2
The film’s two-day worldwide gross stands at approximately ₹10.13 crore, comprising ₹8.63 crore from India and ₹1.50 crore from overseas markets.
Domestic occupancy also improved from approximately 11% on Friday to 14% on Saturday, indicating a slight increase in audience turnout.
However, the growth remains relatively modest for a film entering its first weekend. Sunday’s performance will be particularly important in determining whether Nayyi Navelli can maintain its momentum before weekday collections begin.
Can Nayyi Navelli Maintain Its Weekend Growth?
Released on October 16, Nayyi Navelli features Yami Gautam as Mohini, a newly married woman whose arrival transforms her husband’s household before suspicions about her mysterious identity emerge.
The film blends supernatural elements with family comedy and features Adinath Kothare, Sunita Rajwar and Sushmita Mukherjee.
Its Saturday improvement provides some encouragement, although the collections are not yet strong enough to establish a clear commercial verdict.
With Sunday’s final figures still awaited, the opening weekend and subsequent Monday performance will offer a clearer indication of the film’s theatrical prospects.
