Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after unidentified gunmen opened fire at his vehicle in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday, October 18, 2026. A message purportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack, although Mumbai Police have yet to verify the claim.
The incident reportedly occurred around 7 PM near Pushpa Park, shortly after Shroff finished playing football.
What Happened During the Tiger Shroff Shooting?
According to police reports, three motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly fired three rounds at Shroff’s BMW as he was preparing to leave.
The actor escaped without injuries, but his driver and another person were hurt. The driver sustained a gunshot injury and was taken to Nanavati Hospital for treatment.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that Shroff was safe.
His father Jackie Shroff’s team also reassured the public, stating, “Tiger is okay.”
Bishnoi Gang Claims Attack Over Salman Khan Association
Following the shooting, an audio message and social media post surfaced claiming responsibility in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
A man identifying himself as Anil Pandit alleged that Shroff had ignored previous warnings about associating with Salman Khan.
The message also threatened other entertainment industry figures who continued working with Khan.
However, police have not authenticated the claims or established the attackers’ motive.
Mumbai Police Launch Investigation
Mumbai Police have deployed multiple investigation teams to identify the suspects and examine CCTV footage.
The incident follows previous attacks involving Bollywood personalities, including the 2024 firing outside Salman Khan’s residence and the February 2026 shooting outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s home.
Both incidents drew claims of involvement from individuals associated with the Bishnoi gang.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed authorities to expedite the investigation.
For now, identifying the gunmen and verifying the gang’s alleged involvement remain the immediate priorities.
