Niti Taylor has shared one of the most painful experiences from her personal life while appearing on Alliance. During an emotional conversation on the reality series, the television actor spoke about being in an abusive relationship when she was younger. She alleged that her former boyfriend was physically violent and even burnt her with a cigarette, leaving behind a permanent scar that she still carries today.
The revelation came as Niti opened up about the importance of recognising unhealthy relationships at an early stage. Looking back at that phase of her life, she admitted that she was very young and vulnerable, which made it difficult for her to understand the warning signs before things became worse.
Niti Taylor Says Her Ex-Boyfriend Was Violent
While speaking with Mini Mathur, Ruhee Dosani and Delbar Arya on the show, Niti recalled the alleged abuse she experienced. Showing the mark left on her inner thigh, she spoke about an incident that she says took place during her former boyfriend’s birthday celebration.
She said, “My ex-boyfriend once burnt me with a cigarette. He was violent and psychotic. One night he went mad, it was his birthday. It was bad. Then, he slapped me and then I just said, ‘Goodbye, see you.’ But anyway, I was just a kid at that time. Because you are vulnerable, you fail to judge people’s character properly. He was psychotic.”
The actor explained that leaving the relationship became the only option after the violence escalated. She also reflected on how age and emotional vulnerability can sometimes prevent people from recognising dangerous behaviour until they have already gone through painful experiences.

Apart from speaking about her past relationship, Niti’s personal life has also remained in the spotlight over the last year because of speculation surrounding her marriage to Parikshit Bawa. The couple got engaged in August 2019 before tying the knot on August 13, 2020. In 2024, rumours about their relationship surfaced online, prompting widespread discussion among fans.
Responding to those reports at the time, Niti chose not to directly confirm or deny the speculation. She had said, “When you don’t react, that’s the answer.
