Drama inside Lock Upp 2 reached another level after an argument over food snowballed into a personal confrontation involving Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde. What began as a disagreement between contestants quickly turned into one of the season’s most controversial moments, with old legal controversies being dragged into the discussion. The tense exchange has now become one of the biggest talking points among viewers, especially after Ram’s remarks about Shilpa’s past confession.

Food argument turns into personal showdown
The conflict picked up from the previous episode, where Akanksha Choudhary and Shilpa Shinde had already clashed over food. Their unresolved tension resurfaced when Akanksha, after being named the ‘Fan Favourite Contestant of the Week’, celebrated the achievement in front of Shilpa. During the moment, she allegedly blocked Shilpa’s way, leading Shilpa to gently push her aside with her hands. Akanksha immediately objected and warned Shilpa not to touch her.
The heated exchange soon drew other contestants into the argument. Yogesh Rawat, who shares a close friendship with Akanksha, sided with her and made a sarcastic remark directed at Shilpa. He said, “Mam please case maat file karna. Mujh case se bahut dar lagta hai (Mam pldease dont file a false case against him).” His comment shifted the argument away from the original issue and towards Shilpa’s past legal controversy.
Ram Kapoor’s remark leaves the house stunned
Following Yogesh’s statement, Ram Kapoor also joined the conversation and made a pointed remark aimed at Shilpa. Referring to the controversy surrounding her earlier admission, he said, “Now, if she files a case nobody is going to listen to her. One bitten, twice shy. It is like the crying wolf story. That is the fact that she has to deal with for the rest of her life.” His statement immediately intensified the atmosphere inside the jail, with contestants reacting to the sharp exchange.
Yogesh continued criticising Shilpa during the argument and added, “Have some shame. We respect Ram Kapoor and Sunita Ahuja so much, look how we are talking to you. Respect is earned, not demanded.” The confrontation further widened the divide among contestants, making it one of the most emotionally charged episodes of the season so far.
Shilpa’s past confession returns to the spotlight
The controversy stems from Shilpa Shinde’s recent admission that she had filed a false sexual harassment case against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli during their long-running dispute. The confession sparked strong reactions both inside and outside the reality show, with several contestants openly questioning her actions. During the discussion, however, Shilpa defended her decision and insisted she had acted to protect herself during a difficult period in her life.
Responding to the criticism, Shilpa said, “I used Sam, daam dhand bhed. I didn’t misuse the law, I used it. If you say I twisted the law to turn it in my favour, then you are the same people who light candles after a woman dies, saying she didn’t fight for herself. He’s good to me. 9 saal ke baad mujhe gidgidake vapas show main liya hai. Kyun liya? (He begged me to return after 9 years? During a recent podcast with Rubina Dilaik, actor Hina Khan questioned why Shilpa had not openly spoken about filing the case while appearing on Bigg Boss. Hina said, “She said everything in Bigg Boss, that she had to face the wrong scenario, that the makers made her life hell… Did she say even once that in return she filed a sexual assault case against the producer? Because she knew that if she says this she will never win!” As Lock Upp 2 moves forward, the controversy continues to dominate conversations surrounding the show, with viewers now waiting to see whether the heated rivalry inside the jail escalates even further.
