Reflecting on his past, Sohail shared, “I was s*xually harassed by somebody when I was young and I kept that within me for years. When I grew up and became an adult, I confided in my father (Salim Khan).” His words immediately shifted the mood inside the house, with the conversation turning toward the emotional burden many survivors carry for years before speaking out. Rather than focusing only on his own experience, Sohail used the moment to encourage open communication between parents and children.
The actor further revealed that when he finally spoke to his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan questioned why he had chosen to remain silent for such a long time. Looking back now, he believes no child should ever feel pressured into silence because of fear or guilt.
