The unexpected mix-up happened on October 19, 2026, as Raju discussed his involvement in distributing Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming mythological epic.
Although the producer immediately corrected himself and apologised, the moment was captured on camera and quickly circulated across social media.
Dil Raju Mistakes Ranbir Kapoor for Ranveer Singh
During his speech, Dil Raju praised Ranbir Kapoor’s acting career and highlighted their previous professional association.
However, while complimenting the actor, he mistakenly referred to him as Ranveer Singh.
“the best hero is Ranveer Singh garu, sorry, Ranbir Kapoor Garu,” he said, correcting himself almost immediately.
The camera then focused on Ranbir, who maintained a straight face and showed little visible reaction to the mistake.
