Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s spy comedy Udta Teer has completed its opening weekend with ₹19.45 crore net at the Indian box office. The film collected an estimated ₹8.10 crore on Sunday, October 25, registering its highest single-day earnings since arriving in theaters on Friday.
Directed by debutant Aakash Kaushik, the film witnessed consistent growth throughout its first three days. However, despite the encouraging weekend trend, its collections remain relatively modest compared with some of Khurrana’s previous theatrical releases.
Udta Teer Box Office Collection Day 3
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Udta Teer opened with ₹4.10 crore on Friday before jumping approximately 77% to ₹7.25 crore on Saturday.
Sunday brought another 11.7% increase, with collections reaching ₹8.10 crore.
The reported day-wise India net collections are:
| Day | Collection |
|---|---|
| Day 1 – Friday, October 23 | ₹4.10 crore |
| Day 2 – Saturday, October 24 | ₹7.25 crore |
| Day 3 – Sunday, October 25 | ₹8.10 crore |
| Total | ₹19.45 crore |
The film earned nearly twice as much on Sunday as it did on opening day, indicating improving weekend attendance.
Sunday’s estimated ticket sales reached 3.61 lakh across approximately 6,020 shows. Hindi 2D screenings recorded 35.91% occupancy, with evening shows performing particularly well at 47.08%.
Udta Teer Worldwide Box Office Crosses ₹27 Crore
Beyond the domestic market, Udta Teer has collected ₹27.58 crore worldwide during its first three days.
Its India gross stands at ₹23.08 crore, while overseas markets have contributed another ₹4.50 crore.
Although the international contribution is relatively limited, the worldwide total provides a broader picture of the film’s theatrical performance.
Interestingly, Udta Teer has already surpassed the reported ₹17.15 crore opening-weekend collection of Khurrana’s previous release, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, by ₹2.30 crore.
However, it remains far behind Thamma, which collected ₹55.60 crore net in India during its first three days in 2025. That comparison comes with an important distinction: Thamma benefited from a Diwali-period release, making the circumstances considerably different.
Can Udta Teer Maintain Its Growth on Monday?
Produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Udta Teer follows a Pakistani intelligence agent who loses his memory and mistakenly believes he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer.
The supporting cast includes Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
While the film’s weekend growth is encouraging, Monday, October 26, will provide its first major box office test. A substantial weekday decline would suggest that the increase was driven primarily by weekend attendance.
With ₹19.45 crore already collected domestically, Udta Teer has demonstrated improving audience turnout. Its ability to sustain that momentum during the working week will be more important than the weekend figures alone.
