Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli spent Sunday evening immersed in devotional music at American singer Krishna Das’ live kirtan in Mumbai. The couple attended the October 25, 2026, performance at Dome SVP Stadium in Worli, where videos captured Anushka enthusiastically clapping and singing along while Virat quietly joined the chants.
Several clips from the gathering have circulated on social media, offering a glimpse of the couple enjoying an evening away from their usual professional commitments.
Anushka Sharma Claps and Sings Along at Krishna Das Concert
In videos from the event, Anushka is seen sitting beside Virat, smiling, clapping and participating in the devotional singing. The actress wore a pink traditional outfit, while the cricketer kept his appearance casual in a black T-shirt and trousers.
One clip shows Anushka chanting along with the gathering, while Virat briefly glances towards the camera before returning his attention to the performance. Other footage captures the couple gently swaying with the music.
The chants included devotional phrases such as “Hare Ram” and “Radhe Radhe.”
Their appearance also attracted attention because the couple have largely maintained a private family life, spending considerable time in London with their children, Vamika and Akaay.
Why Krishna Das’ Kirtans Hold Special Meaning for the Couple
This was not Anushka and Virat’s first experience attending Krishna Das’ devotional performances.
The couple previously attended his kirtan at London’s Union Chapel in July 2026 and have been associated with the teachings of spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba.
Krishna Das, born Jeffrey Kagel, travelled to India in 1970 and became a devotee of Neem Karoli Baba. He later helped introduce traditional Indian kirtan to international audiences through recordings and live performances.
Unlike a conventional concert, kirtan typically involves call-and-response chanting, encouraging attendees to participate rather than simply listen.
That explains why Anushka’s enthusiastic singing and Virat’s participation were natural parts of the gathering rather than unusual audience interactions.
Krishna Das also received a Grammy nomination for his album Live Ananda, further establishing his international recognition.
Krishna Das Continues His Five-City India Tour
The Mumbai performance was the second stop on Krishna Das’ five-city India tour, which began in New Delhi on October 23.
Following Mumbai, the singer is scheduled to perform in Pune on October 30, Ahmedabad on November 1 and Bengaluru on November 4.
For Anushka and Virat, Sunday’s outing continued a pattern of attending devotional gatherings together. Their latest appearance drew public attention, but the evening itself centered on music, collective chanting and a shared spiritual tradition.
