In the video, several fans are seen tearing down posters of Parasakthi displayed outside the theatre and throwing them to the ground, while others cheer and record the moment.
The clip quickly went viral, drawing criticism from neutral moviegoers and rival fan groups. Some Sivakarthikeyan supporters questioned how a single competing release could trigger such extreme reactions — especially with Vijay preparing to enter politics.
Parasakthi Event Disrupted by TVK Chants
The unrest didn’t stop there. More videos emerged from Parasakthi’s pre-release event, where sections of the audience were reportedly taken over by Vijay fans. Several clips show people flashing phone lights and loudly chanting “TVK” — referring to Vijay’s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam — even before the event formally began.
