Charli xcx has cancelled her Music, Fashion, Film concert in Arizona after losing her voice while battling an illness throughout her North American tour. The Grammy-winning singer announced the cancellation on Tuesday, October 20, just one day before her scheduled performance at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale on October 21, 2026.
The last-minute decision came after two performances in Los Angeles over the weekend, leaving Charli disappointed that she could not complete the second-to-last stop of her US tour.
Charli xcx Apologises to Fans After Losing Her Voice
Addressing her fans through Instagram Stories, Charli explained that she had been struggling with illness during the tour and could no longer sing.
She acknowledged the physical and emotional effort involved in her performances, admitting that cancelling the show was particularly upsetting.
“it breaks me that i can’t be with you tomorrow,” she wrote.
The singer also recognised the time, planning and expenses fans had committed to attending the concert.
Although her team attempted to arrange another performance date, scheduling difficulties ultimately prevented them from rescheduling the Arizona stop.
Charli promised to return to the state in the future, but no replacement concert has been announced.
Will Fans Receive Refunds for the Cancelled Concert?
Charli confirmed that fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically receive refunds.
Those who bought tickets through other authorised sellers should request refunds from their original point of purchase.
The cancellation comes near the end of a North American tour that began in Philadelphia on September 11.
Recent Los Angeles performances featured surprise appearances from Chappell Roan and PinkPantheress, adding memorable collaborations to the tour’s final stretch.
Is Charli xcx’s Las Vegas Concert Still Happening?
Despite cancelling Arizona, Charli intends to perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday, October 23.
The concert is scheduled to conclude the North American leg of Music, Fashion, Film.
Charli previously acknowledged that touring can be physically and emotionally demanding, explaining in September why she prefers shorter concert schedules.
Her latest cancellation reinforces those concerns, although she has not publicly identified the illness responsible for her voice loss.
For now, the singer is resting ahead of Las Vegas, hoping to finish the tour as planned. Her October 23 performance remains scheduled, subject to her recovery.
