The actor expressed how deeply the story affected him, suggesting that the creative team has crafted a fitting conclusion for one of Hollywood’s biggest action franchises.
Sharing his reaction, Diesel wrote, “I just read the ‘Fast Forever‘ script by [Michael Lesslie]. It is the best script I have read in decades. I am still crying…” The emotional message immediately caught fans’ attention, with many interpreting it as a sign that the final installment could deliver an emotional farewell alongside its trademark high-octane action.
His post accompanied a trailer promoting the theatrical re-release of The Fast and the Furious, which returns to cinemas on August 21 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Diesel also hinted that revisiting the original movie before the finale will make the experience even more meaningful, writing, “You will thank God you got to see the First one in the theaters this summer.”
Fast Forever Will Connect Back to the Original Film
