The makers of Tere Ishk Mein unveiled the trailer in Mumbai on Friday evening, giving fans their first real look at Aanand L Rai’s latest love story — one that carries the emotional flavour of his 2013 hit Raanjhanaa, while charting a fresh and fiery path of its own.
❤️ A Love Story That Burns on Both Sides
Headlined by Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film explores a relationship that feels passionate, overwhelming, and possibly doomed. The trailer opens with Dhanush as Flight Lieutenant Shankar, arriving at an Indian Air Force base. Kriti’s character waits anxiously, and we then see Shankar take flight — both literally and emotionally.
A confrontation follows.
Kriti tells him, “Still aggressive… you love this image of yours, right?”
From there, the trailer dives into a flashback showing their turbulent romance — tender moments woven between anger, obsession, and longing. At one point, Dhanush beats a man in rage while Kriti desperately tries to hold him back. She promises to turn him into a calmer version of himself. He warns that if he ever truly falls in love with her, he could “burn up Delhi.”
What follows is a swirl of emotions: winter-lit scenes of Delhi, stolen moments, heartbreak, and two lovers spiralling toward something tragic and inevitable.
