Mumbai, October 25, 2025:
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced the theatrical re-release of several of his classic films, giving fans a chance to relive his timeless performances on the big screen once again.
In a heartfelt social-media post titled “The Man Hasn’t Changed”, SRK confirmed that a curated selection of his most beloved movies will return to cinemas worldwide as part of a special “Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival.”
Though the complete lineup is yet to be revealed, sources suggest that films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Chak De! India, Devdas, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Swades are expected to be part of the re-release package.
In his announcement, SRK wrote:
“So many years, so many stories, and yet… the man hasn’t changed. Thank you for letting me entertain you for over three decades. See you back at the movies.”
The initiative is reportedly being organized by Yash Raj Films and Red Chillies Entertainment to celebrate Khan’s enduring legacy and connect with new-generation audiences who may have only seen these films on OTT platforms.
The move comes as cinemas continue to experience a resurgence post-pandemic, with audiences showing growing enthusiasm for re-releases of cult classics. Trade analysts believe SRK’s event could significantly boost theatre occupancy rates across major Indian cities and overseas markets.
Shah Rukh Khan, who last appeared in Dunki (2023), has had one of the most remarkable comeback runs in recent years with blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan, both dominating global box offices.
The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival is expected to begin in early November 2025, ahead of the superstar’s birthday celebrations.
