Fans eager to dive back into the madness of the Dhamaal universe will have to wait a little longer. The makers of Dhamaal 4 have officially pushed the film’s release, moving it away from the crowded Eid 2026 window.
Originally slated to hit theatres on March 20, 2026, the comedy sequel will now arrive on June 12, 2026, a strategic decision aimed at giving the franchise a clearer run at the box office.
Why Dhamaal 4 Moved Its Release
The postponement is largely seen as a smart tactical shift. The Eid weekend was shaping up to be a high-stakes battleground with major action-heavy releases like Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups lined up.
Rather than getting squeezed between two large-scale spectacle films, the Dhamaal 4 team has opted for breathing space — allowing the comedy to play to its strengths without distraction.
Announcing the new date on Instagram, producers T-Series shared a playful note:
“Jaldi bata rahein hain, phir Dhamaal machane bhi toh jaana hai. Stay tuned!”
The tone was light, but the intent was clear — box-office longevity over risky clashes.
Familiar Faces, Fresh Additions
Directed once again by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 reunites the core cast that has defined the franchise’s slapstick appeal. Returning to bring the chaos are:
- Ajay Devgn
- Riteish Deshmukh
- Arshad Warsi
- Jaaved Jaaferi
- Sanjay Mishra
This installment also expands the ensemble with new faces including Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan.
Notably, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, who appeared in Total Dhamaal, will not be part of this chapter.
A Franchise With Proven Box Office Pull
The Dhamaal journey began in 2007, followed by Double Dhamaal in 2011 and Total Dhamaal in 2019. The third film proved the franchise’s enduring appeal, earning ₹228.27 crore worldwide and reaffirming audience love for broad, family-friendly comedy.
Dhamaal 4 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with Devgn Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios. Ajay Devgn also returns as a producer, continuing his long association with the franchise.
Final Words
By stepping away from a festival clash and opting for a quieter June release, Dhamaal 4 is clearly prioritising longevity over opening-weekend noise. With its trusted cast, proven comic formula, and a cleaner box-office window, the film is positioning itself to recreate the laughter and chaos audiences expect — minus the pressure of heavyweight competition.
For fans of mindless fun and old-school comedy, the wait may be longer — but the Dhamaal is still very much on its way.
