Mumbai’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has cracked open what investigators describe as a major drug syndicate connected to underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim, and several Bollywood personalities have now come under the scanner as the probe widens.
🔍 Big Names, Bigger Network
According to PTI, the names emerging in the investigation include:
- Rapper Loka
- Actress Shraddha Kapoor
- Socialite Orry (Orhan Awatramani)
- Filmmaking duo Abbas–Mustan
- Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of the late Baba Siddique
The syndicate was allegedly operated by Salim Dola, a wanted Dawood associate who ran the network from Dubai. Police say he supplied mephedrone (also known as M-Cat or Meow Meow) across multiple Indian states and even smuggled it abroad.
His son, Taher Dola, extradited from the UAE in August, has reportedly provided crucial leads.
🎯 What Investigators Found
A report by India Today states that Taher told officials that actors, models, rappers, filmmakers, and even individuals connected to Dawood attended drug-fuelled parties in India and overseas. The remand copy mentions that Taher not only organised these gatherings but also distributed drugs at the events.
According to media reports quoting the document, the list of attendees includes:
- Alisha (Alishah) Parkar
- Nora Fatehi
- Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor
- Zeeshan Siddiqui
- Orry (Orhan Awatramani)
- Abbas–Mustan
- Loka
…and several others.
Interestingly, Shraddha Kapoor portrayed Haseena Parkar — Dawood Ibrahim’s sister — in the 2017 biographical film. Her brother Siddharth played Dawood in the same movie.
📈 Spike in Public Interest
Google Trends showed a significant rise in searches for “Dawood Ibrahim” between November 12 and 13, reflecting the public’s growing curiosity about the case.
⚠️ Another Key Arrest: “Lavish”
The ANC is also questioning Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, known in the drug world as “Lavish” due to his luxury lifestyle. Deported from Dubai in October, he is accused of organising high-end drug parties and was earlier arrested for his alleged link to a ₹252 crore mephedrone seizure in Sangli.

Officials are now trying to confirm the identities of others who attended these parties and whether more traffickers hosted similar events. According to PTI, the possibility of questioning Bollywood celebrities mentioned in the documents has not been ruled out.
The probe is ongoing, and more names are likely to emerge as investigators dig deeper into the syndicate’s operations.
