Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi has found his private life unexpectedly back in the headlines, less than two weeks after publicly announcing his marriage.
Police were reportedly dispatched to the 35-year-old actor’s residence around midnight on September 17, following an argument between Sakaguchi and his wife. Japanese publication Josei Seven first reported the incident, citing police sources, while subsequent Japanese and international reports said his wife was believed to have made the emergency 110 call.
The incident came just 11 days after Sakaguchi announced his marriage on September 6.
