Current estimates suggest the film’s overall advance booking value has crossed Rs 70 lakh gross, indicating that exhibitors are expecting healthy occupancy during the opening weekend. CBFC Ordered Several Changes Before Release
Ahead of its theatrical debut, Welcome To The Jungle underwent scrutiny from the Central Board of Film Certification. The film was eventually granted a U/A 16+ certificate, though not before the board recommended several modifications.
According to certification details, certain dialogues were altered, while references involving Kashmir, specific hand gestures, and some visual elements including bikini shots were modified before approval. Following these changes, the final theatrical version received a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 44 minutes.
Among the revisions, a few dialogues were rewritten to comply with certification guidelines. Such edits are fairly common for large commercial releases, particularly those featuring broad comedy and mass-market humor. Despite the changes, the overall narrative and comic tone of the film are believed to remain intact.
The lengthy runtime suggests the makers are aiming to provide audiences with a full-scale entertainer packed with multiple characters, parallel storylines, and extended comic set pieces.
