Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Spotted for the First Time in Prison After Sentencing — Rapper Appears With Gray Hair at FCI Fort Dix

For the first time since his sentencing, Sean “Diddy” Combs has been photographed behind bars. The 55-year-old music mogul, who is currently serving time at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, was spotted walking outside the facility on Friday in new images obtained by TMZ.

Diddy’s First Public Sighting Since Sentencing

In the photos, Combs was seen wearing an orange prison beanie and a navy blue puffy jacket as he walked around the federal prison yard during his recreation period. The temperature reportedly hovered around 50°F at the time.

The rapper, known for his high-profile lifestyle and business empire, appeared visibly aged, sporting a full face of gray hair.

This is the first public sighting of Combs since he began serving his sentence following his conviction on two federal counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

From Luxury to Lockdown

Once known for his multimillion-dollar homes and lavish parties, the founder of Bad Boy Records now resides at the low-security federal correctional institution in Fort Dix.

Last month, Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison after being found guilty on both counts. Along with his prison term, he was fined $500,000 and ordered to participate in mental health and substance abuse programs as part of his rehabilitation process.

While some critics have described the sentence as lenient given the nature of the charges, reports from inside suggest that Combs’ time in prison has been far from easy.

Alleged Threat in Jail

Before being transferred to Fort Dix, Combs was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn. During that time, his longtime acquaintance Charlucci Finney claimed that the rapper faced a frightening incident in his cell.

According to Finney, Combs “woke up with a knife to his throat” during one night in custody.

“I don’t know whether he fought him off or the guards came,” Finney said, adding that he believed the incident was intended as a threat rather than a serious attack.
“If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second to cut his throat and kill him.”

Authorities have not confirmed the alleged incident, and representatives for Combs have not commented publicly.

Life Behind Bars

Combs’ transfer to FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal facility located about 40 miles from Philadelphia, came after his sentencing in October. The rapper’s expected release date has been set for May 8, 2028, assuming good behavior and completion of required programs.

The facility, which houses over 3,000 inmates, includes recreation yards, a chapel, and educational programs — a far cry from the luxury lifestyle Combs once led.

Sources close to the rapper say he is adjusting to prison life quietly and focusing on mental health and rehabilitation.

Final Words

The first images of Sean “Diddy” Combs behind bars mark a striking contrast to the glamorous persona he cultivated over decades as a hip-hop icon, producer, and entrepreneur.

Once one of the most powerful figures in music, Combs now faces years of confinement — a stark reminder of how far his life has changed since his arrest last year.

With his next public milestone set for 2028, the world will be watching to see what’s left of Diddy’s empire — and reputation — when he finally walks free.
