Sharvari has fulfilled a special fan moment by dancing alongside Madhuri Dixit to the title track of her upcoming film, Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The young actress shared a video of their meeting on Instagram, describing the opportunity to dance with her idol as “surreal” and “soooo special.”
The collaboration brings together two generations of actresses associated with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s Rajshri Productions. Madhuri became part of the banner’s cinematic legacy through the 1994 blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, while Sharvari is preparing to headline Barjatya’s next directorial alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
Sharing the video, Sharvari expressed her gratitude to the veteran actress. “So honoured to receive this much prem from one of the OG Rajshri heroines of Sooraj Barjatya sir.. the one and only Madhuri Dixit ma’am,” she wrote.
“Getting to dance alongside my idol feels surreal and soooo special 🥹😭♥️ Thankyou ma’am, you are the best!” she added, before connecting the moment to Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, the film that helped cement Madhuri’s place in Rajshri’s history.
Madhuri Dixit and Sharvari Celebrate Rajshri’s Legacy
The video shows Sharvari beginning the dance before Madhuri joins her for a few steps. The two actresses, dressed in pink outfits, share a warm moment that ends with Sharvari bowing to Madhuri before they embrace.
Madhuri’s association with Barjatya dates back to Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, in which she starred opposite Salman Khan. The film became a landmark family entertainer, remembered for its songs, choreography, wedding celebrations and emphasis on family relationships.
For Sharvari, dancing with Madhuri offers a personal connection to that legacy as she prepares to lead a new Rajshri production. The interaction also serves as a nostalgic promotional moment ahead of the upcoming film’s release.
