Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s family has been struck by another troubling incident after his elder brother was allegedly attacked in Bihar’s Gopalganj district. The incident reportedly took place on June 21 and has since led to the arrest of a suspect, with police launching a detailed investigation into the matter.
According to authorities, the attack is believed to be linked to a land-related dispute. The incident quickly drew attention in the region due to the victim’s connection to the acclaimed actor, while police officials moved swiftly to secure evidence and begin legal proceedings. Reports indicate that Vijayendranath Tiwari, also known as Bijendra Nath Tiwari, sustained serious injuries after being allegedly attacked with an axe in his native village. The incident reportedly occurred in Belsand Tiwari Tola, which falls under the Madhopur Police Station limits in Bihar’s Gopalganj district.
Following the attack, family members and locals rushed him to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment. Due to the nature of his injuries, doctors later referred him to Patna for advanced medical care. While the incident initially sparked concern, medical officials have reportedly stated that his condition is currently stable.
Police officials arrived at the scene soon after receiving information about the attack. Given the seriousness of the allegations, senior officers supervised the initial investigation while local authorities worked to gather statements and secure evidence connected to the case.

As the investigation progressed, a Forensic Science Laboratory team was called to the scene to assist with evidence collection. Authorities reportedly recovered the alleged weapon believed to have been used in the attack, along with blood-stained clothing and other material that may help establish the sequence of events.
Police later identified the accused as Rajesh Sah, who is said to be a neighbour of the victim. Officials confirmed that he was arrested shortly after the incident. Law enforcement agencies are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the dispute and determine whether additional individuals were involved.
Authorities have also stated that the situation in the village remains under control and peaceful. Security measures were taken in the area following the incident to prevent any escalation, while investigators continue gathering witness accounts and supporting evidence.

Earlier, Pankaj Tripathi’s sister, Sarita Tiwari, was involved in a serious road accident in which her husband Rajesh Tiwari lost his life. The accident occurred on the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway after their vehicle reportedly collided with a divider.
Sarita sustained injuries and required hospitalization but later recovered under medical supervision. The back-to-back incidents have naturally drawn sympathy from fans of the actor, many of whom have expressed concern for the well-being of his family.
