Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has cleared another major box-office milestone. The Ajay Devgn-led thriller has grossed an estimated ₹303 crore worldwide after four days, crossing ₹300 crore on its first Monday despite experiencing the expected weekday drop in India.
According to figures attributed to Sacnilk, the film has now collected approximately ₹197.50 crore net in India, translating to around ₹237 crore gross. Overseas markets have contributed another ₹66 crore, taking the worldwide total to ₹303 crore through Monday, October 5.
The completed four-day breakdown stands at:
India net: ₹197.50 crore
India gross: ₹237 crore
Overseas: ₹66 crore
Worldwide gross: ₹303 crore
With Tuesday’s business still unfolding, those figures provide the cleanest completed snapshot of the film’s performance rather than mixing partial Day 5 estimates with finalized totals.
Drishyam 3 takes a big Monday drop — but still earns ₹21 crore
After an enormous holiday weekend, Drishyam 3 inevitably slowed on its first regular weekday.
The film opened with ₹62 crore net in India, followed by ₹53.50 crore on Saturday and ₹61 crore on Sunday. Monday delivered another ₹21 crore, taking its four-day domestic net collection to ₹197.50 crore.
That represents a decline of roughly 65.6% from Sunday to Monday, which looks dramatic in isolation. But a ₹21 crore first Monday remains substantial after a weekend that had already generated ₹176.50 crore net.
Bollywood Hungama’s Monday estimates similarly placed the day in the ₹21-22 crore range and suggested the thriller should cross ₹200 crore net in India on Tuesday.
That ₹200 crore domestic milestone is now effectively within reach rather than the larger question surrounding the film’s run.
It has already earned 88% of Drishyam 2’s worldwide total
The more revealing comparison is with the previous film.
Drishyam 2 ended its theatrical run with ₹345.05 crore worldwide, according to Bollywood Hungama. That total consisted of ₹286.36 crore gross from India and ₹58.69 crore from overseas markets.
At ₹303 crore, Drishyam 3 has already generated roughly 87.8% of its predecessor’s entire worldwide collection in only four days.
It now needs approximately ₹42.05 crore more worldwide to overtake the lifetime global total of Drishyam 2.
The overseas comparison is even more striking. Drishyam 3 is currently estimated at ₹66 crore internationally, meaning it has already moved past Drishyam 2’s ₹58.69 crore lifetime overseas gross by roughly ₹7.3 crore.
That suggests the growth of the franchise is not being driven solely by the huge opening in India. Vijay Salgaonkar’s third chapter is also operating on a noticeably larger international scale.
₹300 crore came in just four days
Crossing ₹300 crore worldwide within four days also puts Drishyam 3 among the faster Indian films to reach the milestone.
Business Today notes that films including Pushpa 2: The Rule, RRR, Pathaan, Kalki 2898 AD and Jawan also reached ₹300 crore globally within their first few days.
The comparison should not be stretched too far — several of those films opened at a substantially larger scale — but Drishyam 3 reaching the mark this quickly is notable because the franchise is built around a dialogue-heavy crime thriller rather than spectacle, action or franchise-event filmmaking.
It also reinforces how dramatically the Hindi Drishyam audience has expanded.
For context, Drishyam 2 opened with only ₹15.38 crore net in India in 2022 and eventually grew into a ₹345.05 crore worldwide blockbuster.
The third film began with ₹62 crore — more than four times its predecessor’s opening day — and is now approaching that previous film’s entire global total before completing its first working week.
Drishyam 2’s lifetime record could fall very soon
Tuesday’s finalized numbers will determine how quickly The Conclusion crosses ₹200 crore net domestically, but the bigger milestone is now unmistakable.
At ₹303 crore worldwide, Drishyam 3 requires only around ₹42 crore to surpass Drishyam 2’s lifetime global business.
That does not guarantee its eventual ceiling. The first Tuesday, Wednesday and second-weekend holds will provide a much better indication of where the film is ultimately heading. Bollywood Hungama’s early analysis has suggested a potential India lifetime in the ₹400 crore range, but that remains a projection rather than a confirmed outcome.
What is already clear is that the franchise finale is operating at a completely different commercial level from its predecessor.
Drishyam 2 needed its entire theatrical run to reach ₹345 crore worldwide. Drishyam 3 is already at ₹303 crore after four days.
Vijay Salgaonkar now needs just one more strong stretch at the box office to make the third film the biggest Drishyam movie globally.
