Isha Rikhi Hits Back at Mahhi Vij After ‘Badshah’ Comment

Isha Rikhi is speaking out after her exit from Bigg Boss 20, and one comment from Mahhi Vij clearly did not sit well with her.

During an interview after her eviction, Isha addressed Mahhi’s remark questioning her emotional response inside the house and suggesting that viewers might wonder what Badshah had done to her.

Isha said she was disappointed by the comment and found it particularly insensitive because it came from another woman whom she considered senior and experienced.

“I thought it was really, really insensitive.”

She also said she disliked the fact that Mahhi made the observation while speaking to other contestants rather than raising the issue directly with her.

What did Mahhi Vij actually say about Isha and Badshah?

The controversy began after a tense captaincy task inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.

Qazi Touqeer and Yung DSA became involved in an argument, and Isha tried to intervene. After Qazi responded loudly, Isha became emotional and said the confrontation had triggered past trauma and anxiety.

Mahhi later questioned that reaction while discussing the incident with other contestants.

She argued that repeatedly referring to unspecified trauma could cause viewers outside the house to connect those experiences with Isha’s past relationship with Badshah.

Mahhi said:

“Kal to bahar log sochenge pata nahi, Badshah ne iske sath kya kar diya.”

She also argued that such an implication could amount to unfairly damaging someone’s character when Isha had not actually named Badshah as the cause of the trauma she was discussing.

That distinction became the center of the disagreement.

Mahhi appeared concerned about what audiences might infer from Isha’s comments.

Isha, on the other hand, felt Mahhi was dismissing an emotional response without knowing what experiences were behind it.

Isha says people process trauma differently

In her post-show interviews, Isha explained that there is no universal timeline for recovering from a difficult experience.

She said something that one person processes quickly could affect another person for weeks, years or considerably longer.

That appears to be why Mahhi’s comment bothered her beyond the Badshah reference itself.

For Isha, the issue was not simply that someone mentioned a former relationship. It was that her reaction inside the house was being judged without knowing the personal history behind it.

She told Times of India that she had experienced physical violence from a former boyfriend when she was younger and used that example to explain why emotional triggers cannot always be measured by how serious an incident appears to someone watching from outside.

Importantly, Isha did not identify Badshah as the person involved in that incident.

That is worth making clear because Mahhi’s original concern was precisely about viewers making assumptions based on Isha discussing trauma while her previous relationship with Badshah was already publicly known.

Isha was also bothered that Mahhi did not confront her directly

Another part of Isha’s criticism was more personal.

She said she would have preferred Mahhi to question her directly rather than discuss the issue with other housemates.

“You weren’t even saying it to my face.”

For Isha, that made the exchange more disappointing because she had expected a different level of understanding from Mahhi.

She made a similar point in another interview, saying she did not expect those words from Mahhi and felt the conversation should have happened face-to-face.

The disagreement therefore involves two separate questions: whether Isha was justified in describing the confrontation as triggering, and whether Mahhi was right to worry about the assumptions viewers might make about Badshah.

Both women were reacting to different concerns, but Isha clearly believes Mahhi crossed a line in the way she expressed hers.

Badshah has not been accused by Isha in this exchange

The most important clarification is that Isha’s recent response does not amount to an allegation against Badshah.

Her criticism is directed at Mahhi Vij for introducing his name while discussing her trauma.

Reports surrounding the original episode similarly show that it was Mahhi who raised the possibility that audiences might connect Isha’s comments to Badshah.

That makes this less a feud involving Badshah and more a disagreement between two Bigg Boss 20 contestants over how personal trauma should be discussed — and how careful people need to be when bringing someone else’s name into that conversation.

Now that Isha has watched parts of the show after her eviction, she has made her position clear.

She believes Mahhi’s remark was insensitive, she did not appreciate it being made behind her back, and she does not think someone else gets to decide how quickly another person should recover from something painful.
