Drishyam 3 Box Office Day 5 Hits ₹341 Crore Worldwide

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has continued its strong theatrical run on its first Tuesday, taking its estimated worldwide box office collection to ₹341.30 crore after five days. The Abhishek Pathak-directed thriller added an estimated ₹19 crore net in India on Day 5, taking its domestic net total to ₹216.50 crore, according to Sacnilk’s current figures.

The Tuesday collection was down only around 9.5% from Monday’s ₹21 crore, which is an encouraging weekday hold after the much bigger numbers delivered over the Gandhi Jayanti opening weekend. More significantly, Drishyam 3 is now on the verge of doing in less than a week what its predecessor took its entire theatrical run to achieve.

Drishyam 3 is almost level with Drishyam 2 worldwide

Sacnilk currently estimates Drishyam 3 at ₹259.80 crore gross in India and ₹81.50 crore overseas, producing the ₹341.30 crore worldwide total. Its five-day India net collection stands at ₹216.50 crore.

That worldwide number becomes much more interesting when placed alongside Drishyam 2. The 2022 film finished with an estimated ₹342.31 crore worldwide, including ₹282.81 crore gross in India and ₹59.50 crore overseas, according to the same tracker.

In other words, Drishyam 3 is currently just ₹1.01 crore short of Drishyam 2’s entire worldwide run after only five days.

There is another notable difference hiding inside those numbers. Drishyam 3 has already collected an estimated ₹81.50 crore overseas, around ₹22 crore more than Drishyam 2’s ₹59.50 crore lifetime overseas gross. Its domestic gross has not yet caught the second film’s lifetime figure, but the much stronger international performance has allowed the third instalment to almost close the worldwide gap immediately.

Tuesday hold keeps the first week on track

Drishyam 3 opened with ₹62 crore net in India, followed by ₹53.50 crore on Saturday and ₹61 crore on Sunday. That gave the film a huge ₹176.50 crore net opening weekend before collections inevitably fell with the start of the working week. Monday brought in ₹21 crore, while Tuesday followed with ₹19 crore.

The more important number at this stage is not the fall from the holiday-fuelled opening day but the relatively modest decline between Monday and Tuesday. A roughly 9.5% day-to-day drop suggests the film has maintained much of its weekday audience rather than experiencing a sharp post-weekend collapse.

Drishyam 3 also reached ₹200 crore net in India within five days, making it the fastest Ajay Devgn film to reach that domestic milestone, according to current box-office reporting.

If the film maintains its present pace, surpassing Drishyam 2’s lifetime worldwide collection is now less a distant target than the next immediate milestone. The bigger question for the remainder of the first week is how much of its strong Monday-Tuesday momentum survives heading into the second weekend.

One caveat is worth keeping in mind: Indian box-office numbers are generally tracker estimates unless producers release audited figures, and different services can report different totals. For example, BoxOfficeIndia24 currently lists a lower five-day worldwide figure of ₹325.23 crore, compared with Sacnilk’s ₹341.30 crore. The ₹341.30 crore figure used here therefore reflects Sacnilk’s current estimate rather than a final producer-certified total.
