Marvel Studios has finally lifted the curtain on Avengers: Doomsday, releasing its first official trailer and setting the stage for one of the studio’s most ambitious crossover events yet. Packed with returning heroes, familiar faces from across the Marvel multiverse and the long-awaited arrival of Doctor Doom, the footage hints at a conflict unlike anything the Avengers have faced before. Doctor Doom Takes Centre Stage as a New Threat Emerges
The trailer offers the first official look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, introducing one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic villains into the MCU. Although Marvel avoids revealing the character’s full plan, the footage builds suspense around a danger powerful enough to unite heroes from multiple corners of the franchise. “We’re going to need a miracle,” Thor says.
That “miracle” appears to arrive with the return of Steve Rogers, as Chris Evans makes his first appearance in the franchise since Avengers: Endgame in 2019. Beyond Doctor Doom and Steve Rogers, the trailer showcases an enormous lineup of heroes spanning different Marvel franchises. Shang-Chi returns alongside Yelena Belova and members of the Thunderbolts, while Namor reunites with the Wakandan heroes led by the Black Panther legacy. The footage also includes Gambit, the Fantastic Four and Magneto, further expanding the scale of the crossover event.

Anthony Mackie returns as Sam Wilson’s Captain America, while Sebastian Stan reprises Bucky Barnes.
