Speaking at the ET NOW Global Business Summit 2026, the actor opened up about his concerns around AI’s growing presence in creative fields. While acknowledging its potential benefits, Abhishek didn’t shy away from admitting that the technology makes him uneasy.

At the summit, Abhishek Bachchan spoke candidly about how AI could disrupt filmmaking. He said the technology “scares” him and added that it should worry every actor working in the creative space.
According to Abhishek, AI has the power to revolutionise animation, special effects, and post-production workflows. It could reduce working hours and bring down budgets significantly — something production houses may welcome.
But from a purely artistic standpoint, he expressed reservations.
He pointed out that while AI-generated creative products can look impressive, they often lack “soul.” For him, the beauty of human creativity lies in its imperfections — something algorithms still struggle to replicate.
