Jim Carrey is married again. The Mask and Bruce Almighty star has tied the knot with his longtime partner Min Ah in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, with the marriage confirmed by the actor’s representative.
The wedding comes seven months after Carrey and Min Ah made their first major public appearance as a couple at the César Awards in Paris in February 2026, where the actor received an honorary César. During his acceptance speech, Carrey publicly thanked Min Ah and referred to her as his “sublime companion.”
Details about the wedding itself remain scarce. TMZ first reported that the pair recently married in a small Los Angeles ceremony, while subsequent reports citing Carrey’s spokesperson confirmed the marriage. No venue, full guest list or photographs from the ceremony have been publicly released.
Their relationship stayed largely outside the spotlight
Carrey and Min Ah kept their relationship relatively private before appearing together in Paris.
The pair had reportedly been seen together as early as 2022, but they did not publicly present themselves as a couple until the César Awards earlier this year. Min Ah joined Carrey at the ceremony alongside his daughter Jane and grandson Jackson, making the appearance unusually personal for an actor who has kept much of his private life away from public attention in recent years.
During his César speech, Carrey thanked his daughter and grandson before acknowledging Min Ah and saying he loved her. That moment now carries a little more significance given that the couple married only months later.
This is Jim Carrey’s third marriage
The marriage marks the third time Carrey has walked down the aisle.
He first married Melissa Womer in 1987. The couple had one daughter, Jane, before divorcing in 1995. Carrey later married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, though that marriage lasted less than a year.
That history makes the new marriage somewhat unexpected given Carrey’s earlier public comments about remarriage. In interviews years ago, he had expressed skepticism about marrying again following his previous divorces. His relationship with Min Ah appears to have changed that position.
Carrey, now 64, has otherwise kept a lower public profile than during the peak years of his comedy career, making the quiet nature of the wedding consistent with how he and Min Ah have handled their relationship so far.
For now, the couple appears intent on keeping the celebration itself private. What has been confirmed is simple: after several years together and one memorable public declaration of affection in Paris, Jim Carrey and Min Ah are officially married.
