Rajpal Yadav May Get Bail Soon as Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn Step In to Help

Rajpal Yadav May Get Bail Soon

Bollywood’s comic powerhouse Rajpal Yadav could soon walk out of jail, as his bail hearing in the ₹9 crore debt case is scheduled for tomorrow. And in a show of rare industry solidarity, several big names have reportedly stepped forward to offer financial assistance.

From superstars to music composers and even politicians — the support list is long.

What Led to the Crisis?

Rajpal is currently lodged in Tihar Jail after surrendering in connection with a long-running debt case. The matter dates back to 2010 when he reportedly took a ₹5 crore loan to finance his film Ata Pata Laapata.

The film failed at the box office, and repayment cheques allegedly bounced, triggering legal trouble. Over time, penalties and interest reportedly ballooned the liability to nearly ₹9 crore. Court proceedings followed, ultimately leading to his surrender.

Salman, Ajay & Others Rally Behind Him

According to his manager Goldie, the industry has strongly backed Rajpal in his difficult phase.

Names like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Sonu Sood have reportedly extended financial support. Director David Dhawan also reached out, along with Varun Dhawan and Ratan Nain.

Beyond the A-list circle, singer Guru Randhawa, actor Gurmeet Choudhary, and music director Rao Inderjeet Yadav have also stepped in. Rao Inderjeet reportedly pledged ₹1.11 crore and publicly shared Rajpal’s bank details to facilitate contributions.

Meanwhile, actor-producer KRK promised ₹10 lakh, and politician Tej Pratap Yadav reportedly committed ₹11 lakh.

Goldie clarified that while many have committed support, financial processes naturally take time and cannot be completed overnight.

Industry Stands United

When asked whether Rajpal had sought help before surrendering, his manager chose not to comment. However, he emphasized that once the situation escalated, the film fraternity rallied behind him in full force.

It’s not every day that competitors, collaborators, and critics align for one cause. But this moment has shown a softer side of the industry — one that stands by its own during crisis.

Bail Hearing Tomorrow

The bail application has already been filed, and Rajpal’s legal team is hopeful for a positive outcome. According to Goldie, the actor and his family are staying mentally strong despite the stress.

There are reportedly family functions planned later this month, and those close to him are hoping he will be home by then.

Final Words

Rajpal Yadav has spent decades making audiences laugh — from scene-stealing comic bits to unforgettable supporting roles. Now, as he faces one of the toughest chapters of his life, the industry’s response has shifted the narrative from isolation to support.

Tomorrow’s hearing could mark a turning point.

And if granted bail, it won’t just be a legal relief — it’ll be a reminder that in Bollywood, sometimes the biggest story isn’t about films, but about standing together when it matters most.
