The latest development comes through a public notice issued by Vijay and his wife Nakshatra Murthy’s lawyer, giving Anugraha and producer A. B. Sharon just 48 hours to issue an unconditional apology. The notice clearly states that several statements made on platforms like YouTube and Instagram were “false, baseless, and defamatory,” and were allegedly aimed at damaging Vijay’s reputation.
According to the notice, claims about unpaid dues and misconduct have been strongly denied. Vijay’s side has made it clear that there was no financial or contractual obligation towards Anugraha or Sharon, directly rejecting the core accusations that triggered the controversy in the first place. They’ve also stated that these public statements caused not just reputational harm but also personal distress and professional damage.
