After Bigg Boss 19 wrapped up with Gaurav Khanna lifting the trophy, several former contestants have begun reflecting on their journeys inside the house. Among them is Ashnoor Kaur, who has now spoken candidly about why she believes her contribution to the show was misunderstood by viewers.

“A Lot of What I Did Wasn’t Shown”

In a recent interview, Ashnoor revealed that she only realised the extent of the editing after stepping out of the house. According to her, many moments where she took strong stands, got into arguments, and voiced opinions on issues that mattered to her never made it to the episodes — or even the live feed.

She recalled asking her mother whether certain fights or moments were shown on television, only to be told that none of it had aired. Ashnoor said the show ended up projecting a single narrative, mostly linking her to one person, while her interactions and equations with multiple housemates were completely ignored.

Not Just Episodes — Even Live Feed Missed It

What bothered her more was the fact that these moments weren’t visible even on the 24-hour live stream. Ashnoor shared that she had bonds and conflicts with several contestants, including Zeishan, Baseer, Amaal, and others, but none of that reached the audience.

As a result, she feels viewers were led to believe she wasn’t actively contributing to the game.

Does She Think It Was Unfair?

Ashnoor admitted she understands the limitations of television editing. With so much happening inside the house, it’s impossible to show everything in a one-hour episode or even a full-day live stream. However, she believes editing plays a major role in shaping public perception.

According to her, the idea that she wasn’t doing enough came purely from what wasn’t shown. She maintained that she played the game in her own way, but the absence of those moments on screen worked against her.

Her Exit From the Show

Ashnoor Kaur’s journey on Bigg Boss 19 ended on Day 98, just days before the grand finale. She was evicted after an incident during the Ticket To Finale task, where she hit fellow contestant Tanya Mittal, leading to her disqualification.

Final Words

Ashnoor’s comments once again bring the spotlight back on reality show editing and how narratives are shaped for television. While Bigg Boss thrives on perception as much as performance, her experience highlights how what viewers see — or don’t see — can significantly impact a contestant’s journey.
